Labor Day 2016

Our weekend was pretty slow...just routine and nonchalant. But today was different! Around noon we took off for Petit Jean State Park. Usually we hike Cedar Falls, but today we didn't. We kept it small so Scott could stay with us. The overlook was beautiful and never disappoints. It was fun to have Spencer there to watch his eyes when he could CLIMB all over the rocks!!!

We then checked out the Cedar Falls overlook....an easy walk on a wood plank path. It also didn't disappoint. We let the kids go further when the path got more rugged. It was fun to just sit and talk.

But how can I end the post without our Saturday and Sunday??? We went to Beaverfork to play Frisbee Golf and a little soccer and frisbee. It was nice to just get out of the house and have fun. Also, Sunday I took Kelsey to a parking lot to practice driving. She turns 14 in April. In Arkansas she can get her permit at 14....not that we will, but it is always fun to practice. She is getting better.

 And this was the BEST pic ever....I took a panorama and she had just kicked a ball. The pic was perfect!!
