When I was a little girl I remember sitting in the bathroom before a bath counting all my scars. I know...I was weird then, still am! I was pretty scarred up as an adventurous, rambunctious little girl in California!
Tonight Spencer just mentioned to me while I was doing dishes that he WANTS to have scars but doesn't want to go through what he has to in order to obtain them.
It set me to thinking that the lessons learned from the scars of life are nice to know, but GETTING THEM is the hard part.
Profound words from a young boy.

Yes, very profound. I like it... I might use that as an object lesson for a YW lesson. :)
Scars are proof of an active boy and girl just like wisdom is the proof of an always-learning/experiencing adult. You have both.
