Yesterday we took Spencer and Cody to lunch - spontaneously. They BOTH wanted to go to Buffalo Wild Wings...Cody especially. So he decided we needed to take him [tomorrow] (meaning today).The FUNNY thing about it....this morning as we had the kids all ready for prayer we said, "It's Tuesday which means it is Spencer's day to pray." Cody immediately wanted it to be HIS day to pray but then....that little "wheels turning" look came and with his face cocked to one side, eyes averted said, "Hmmmm, Tuesday means Buffalo Wild Wings Day!"
The REASON Tuesday is Buffalo Wild Wings days is because they have 45 cent wings. A LONG time ago the women at church went out to lunch there. Cody came and Scott ended up taking him to his own table to eat with the "guys." (Since we were with the girls...hehehehe) The tables have a cool video game type deal...it costs money but Cody doesn't know that. He just likes to play with it. And he LOVES wings.
Scott got some for us today ... Cody snarfed MOST of them down. He was so excited to surprise me after my first day of class. Then he ate more than I did....and it was his second time around. Funny boy!
Yes, we LOVE wings. Scott and I had our first date eating wings at The Hard Rock Cafe in Nashville. So ... they are a family favorite. But, no, we don't go EVERY Tuesday.
Here we are ... complete with dirty faces to prove we I WERE eating wings.
