It is a joy to watch my children learn how to read, read, and embrace reading. I was never a big reader growing up, so it is fun to watch them enjoy it as I have learned to do. Kelsey is amazing...and Kindergarten is fun to see them sounding out words and really learning to put it all together. Last night she read her first BOOK...all by herself. Sure, she needed help on a few words, but for the most part SHE read the entire thing. WOW! So I had to share my joy!!! Her first book was "Go, Dog, Go" by P.D. Eastman.

Clella LOVES that book. It'll be fun when she can read it to us over and over and over again (instead of vice-versa)
