The Lemonade Stand

Spencer's class read a story about a lemonade stand recently and decided to start one of their own. At the Rosebud Theater the Effingham High School Entrepreneurial Class had an evening where each student had their own booth of THEIR item...their new business. It was well done and well attended. Spencer's teacher was able to secure a booth for her 2nd grade class to have a lemonade stand. It was a big hit. I could tell that each of his classmates was just as eager and excited to be there as he was. They greeted folks as they came in or went out, offering them a glass of homemade lemonade (pretty sugary sweet and delicious). They also explained what it was they were doing and why. I was proud to see and hear Spencer speak to total strangers about this endeavor. It was fun to be a part of his excitement and evening of entrepreneurs.
