Ok....so we went to the 2nd Annual Canada Day Celebration down in Provo. Why? Well, one of my companions from my mission to Canada IS from Canada. She is in town this week (cool beans for me) and this was a perfect time to get together. Amazingly, I remembered EVERY WORD to the Canadian National Anthem. It brought back some fun memories. Above is all of us and below is Kelly Rigby and myself (with Kelsey in my gut). It sure was fun to see her, even if just for a short amount of time.
On our way home we stopped to walk around BYU campus....yippee for me. I walked the kids across the bridge from campus to the Marriot Center. Spencer has been begging to hike the Y...maybe tomorrow....but his head is covering it up in this picture. Cody wore Grandpa's sunglasses all evening...what a funny little boy. He loved it though. People were even playing ball in the Marriot Center so that was fun.
On Monday we went up to Salt Lake to visit with my folks from Idaho. They were attending a wedding at the Temple. While we waited we took a short tour of the Conference Center. I took the opportunity to snap a picture of my "happy" kids.
Much much much more to write about.....later. Having a ball and tired to prove it. Have family coming in tonight and tomorrow so the "ball" will just get more fun from here on out before we head back home to Illinois!
